Miranda is a performance designer based in Bristol, who recently graduated with an
MA in Performance Design from Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. She is the winner of the 2025 John Elvery Prize for Design.
She enjoys creating work that foregrounds the body and its relationship with space, and has designed for both theatre and dance.
She is interested in devising new work with visual storytelling at its heart, and loves working with collaborators to develop original concepts from the ground up.
Before studying at BOVTS, Miranda trained in Fine Art & Art History at Goldsmiths (BA Hons, First Class). Her use of artistic processes such as painting, drawing, collage and printmaking are an important part of her concept development as a stage designer.
